The biggest mix we work in. South Tampa bungalows have old, often patched slabs. Riverview, FishHawk and Wimauma are dense newer construction. Plant City and Ruskin bring agricultural and packing-house floors.
That matters because the slab decides the system. We take a moisture reading and read the surface before quoting anything, so what we specify in Tampa may be different to what we would put down twenty miles away.

The slab decides the system
Before anything is quoted in Hillsborough County we read the concrete: moisture, cracks, oil, and whether something has already been put on top of it. A slab that has been sealed or painted needs that removed mechanically before a new coating will bond, and no amount of good resin substitutes for that step.

Always ground, never just coated. Acid etching barely touches a hard-troweled slab, and a coating with nothing to grip is a coating that peels in sheets later.
Can you coat outdoor concrete in Florida?
Yes, with the right system. Standard epoxy ambers and turns slick under ultraviolet light, so exterior work gets a UV-stable polyaspartic or polyurea with texture in the topcoat for pool decks, lanais and patios.
How long before I can park on it?
Foot traffic is usually the day after the clear coat and vehicles about four to five days after, depending on humidity. You get exact dates for your job before we start.
